About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026De Ral is a small natural island with mooring possibilities in the middle of the Veluwemeer, situated halfway between Elburg and Harderwijk, diagonally opposite Aquacentrum Bremerbergse Hoek and between the two nature islands Snip and Kwak. It is described as a lively spot on the Veluwemeer where you can moor, relax and camp.
The depth around the island is between 1.60 and 1.80 metres, and because of the shallow water it is recommended to approach the island at right angles from the fairway. There is room for around 20 mooring spots, and a stay is limited to a maximum of 3 x 24 hours. A mooring fee is payable.
On the island itself there are no sanitary facilities and no waste containers, but there is a covered fire pit where barbecuing is allowed, along with a few small designated plots for tents.
There are no restaurants or shops on the island itself, but it has a land connection and lies diagonally opposite Aquacentrum Bremerbergse Hoek on the mainland. Moor up at De Ral, light a fire at the covered fire pit, and enjoy a quiet night out on the open water of the Veluwemeer.
