About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 30 September 2026The berth at Dranske is a modest, private guest harbour run by the Wittower Segelverein e.V. – the northernmost sailing club in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The jetty lies in the northwestern part of the Wieker Bodden on Rügen's Wittow peninsula, with a view towards the Hiddensee lighthouse.
Visiting yachts can moor at the jetty by prior arrangement on any free berth. Only a handful of guest berths are available (5), and water depth alongside varies from about 1.5 to 2 metres. Note that the water outside the fairway is shallow and foul, so watch your depth sounder closely on the approach.
At the club's jetty you'll find toilets and showers as well as shore power and fresh water right on the pontoon. There is also a restaurant by the nearby pier, while further shops and services are available in the village itself.
From the harbour you can walk or cycle out onto the Wittow peninsula, visit the Naval and Local History Museum Dranske/Bug, stroll the promenade along the bodden shore, or relax on one of the nearby beaches by the bodden and the Baltic Sea. Tie up at the Wittower Segelverein and enjoy the calm of Rügen's northwestern tip.
