About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Dybfest Marina is a small natural harbour and guest harbour in Sør-Trøndelag, in the municipality of Ørland near Oksvoll/Nes, close to the main fairway leading towards the island of Tarva. The harbour is not large but is calm, quiet and sheltered from all wind directions, with the exception of the entrance itself, which can be challenging in strong northerly winds.
The entrance lies only a few cable lengths from the main fairway, and it is recommended to notify the harbour host of your arrival in advance, especially in windy conditions. At the guest dock the depth is around 2.5 metres, while elsewhere in the harbour it reaches up to 3.5 metres. The tidal range is roughly 2.5 metres, and a tide table is posted in the clubhouse. Several guest berths are available on floating piers with finger pontoons, and a local ferry to Tarva also has a regular stop in the harbour, with morning and afternoon departures.
Ashore you'll find a clubhouse along with showers, freshwater, parking and a small slipway for launching smaller boats.
The surrounding land is owned by the neighbouring Dybfest farm, offering easy access to peaceful farm and fjord scenery close by. Tie up in this sheltered, quiet harbour – a fine stop if you're sailing the Trøndelag coast towards Tarva.
