About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Egernsund Havn is a municipal marina owned by Sønderborg Municipality, beautifully located with views over the fjord and lively activity in the strait. The harbor is located idyllically on the south side of the Egernsund Bridge and consists of two small piers, primarily intended for mooring while waiting for the bridge to open, along with a landing pier and a long quay.
For information on bridge opening times, see Den Danske Havnelods, and the harbor office phone hours are weekdays 08:00-14:00. The marina has waste disposal facilities for both pleasure yachts and charter boats - pleasure yachts can pump out via a vacuum pump, while charter boats use a firefighter coupling (90 mm/STORZ C-coupling).
Toilets and showers are located in the same building as the harbor grill/eatery near the harbor, where the key can also be collected, and there are tables, benches and grill areas at the harbor. According to local harbor guides, the marina also offers fuel, wifi, shore power, washing machine and dryer, a playground, shopping options, a slipway, bike rental, a crane, and chandlery services.
The nearest shops are Netto and SuperBrugsen on the other side of the Egernsund Bridge, where you'll also find the boatyard C.J. Skibs & Bådebyggeri ApS, which repairs pleasure craft. The charming town of Gråsten, just one kilometre away, offers shops and restaurants, and you can also visit Gråsten Castle and its castle park.
