Eindhovense Jachtenvereniging Beatrix

EJV Beatrix is a club marina on the Beatrix Canal in Eindhoven, surrounded by greenery yet close to the city centre. The marina offers 65 numbered water berths and more than 300 places ashore, suitable for boats up to 14 metres in length and 1.9 metres draft.

The approach is via the Beatrix Canal, a branch of the Wilhelmina Canal at Best, with about 6-6.5 km of sailing to reach the marina. It is advisable to call the harbourmaster on arrival to secure a berth; if contact cannot be made, boats can moor at the reporting jetty (to starboard right after entering) and report in afterwards. Guest sailors are welcomed with Brabant hospitality, and the gate by the clubhouse opens either during the restaurant's opening hours or with a code from the harbourmaster. According to a marina guide, the guest fee is around 1.50 euro per metre per night, including use of the showers.

Ashore you will find toilets and showers as well as a pump-out station for holding tanks. There is also a laundrette, shore power and free wifi, plus a waste station. The clubhouse houses a restaurant with a terrace.

The marina grounds are fenced and guarded, and within walking distance you'll find a bus stop, supermarkets, shops and technical businesses. Eindhoven's city centre, Veldhoven and the well-known Strijp-S district are all easily reached by public transport, and the ring road as well as Eindhoven Airport are just a few minutes away.
