About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Ejby Havn is a small, charming dinghy and fishing harbour located in Bramsnæsvig on the Hornsherred peninsula, close to scenic views and local history. The harbour has around 50 berths and mainly serves as a base for local fishermen, with space for dinghies and smaller leisure boats.
The harbour can be entered day and night, but only in clear, good-visibility weather, and the entrance is known for being shallow, with a depth of around 1.2 metres. It's a good idea to plan your arrival in daylight and navigate carefully given the limited water depth.
At the harbour you'll find public toilets with disabled access, picnic tables and benches, and a slipway. There are also areas for cleaning fish, and the local fishermen's hut can be used for packed lunches or small groups. In 2016 the harbour was restored with new fishing huts built by volunteer labour, giving the place a cosy outdoor feel while respecting its history.
A short walk from the harbour brings you to coastal paths and open countryside. Just south of the harbour lies the well-known and popular viewpoint "Dejligheden", offering views across land and water. Several paths in the area also lead inland to Rye Dyrehave. Tie up at this idyllic little harbour and experience the relaxed atmosphere of the old fishing hamlet and its scenic surroundings by the Isefjord.
