About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Evjua Båthavn is a modern marina on Lake Mjøsa in Totenvika, located midway between Gjøvik and Minnesund. The marina has floating pontoons and holds around 200 berths, including guest berths, right next to the restaurant Viken II and Evjua Camping.
The guest berths are inside the harbour close to the restaurant. The first night on a guest berth is free, after which a daily fee applies. In spring the pontoons are prepared for launching once the water level reaches around 4.00 metres, and a slipway is available for do-it-yourself launching; larger boats are advised to wait for a slightly higher water level. The marina also arranges crane lifting of boats for both launching and haul-out.
Shore power and fresh water are available at the berths. At the packhouse by Viken II, guests have free access to toilets and fresh water, and for an extra fee access can be purchased to the service building with showers. Parking is available at the marina, and a playground is located just behind the beach.
Within walking distance from the pontoons you'll find the restaurant Viken II serving local food with views over Mjøsa, as well as a bathing beach and a shoreline path along the lake. In summer the historic paddle steamer D/S Skibladner calls at Evjua during its route season, and Mjøsa is regarded as one of Norway's best fishing waters. Come and enjoy the idyll of Totenvika – the first night on a guest berth is free!
