About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Fahrdorfer Segler-Verein runs a club marina at Fahrdorf, opposite the town of Schleswig on the Schlei fjord, protected by stone breakwaters with views of Schleswig's cathedral and old town. The marina has over 50 berths with a water depth of about 1.7 metres.
Approach is from buoy 80/Haddeby 1 in the Schlei fairway on a course of 121° true, leading into the harbour, which is lit at night and in poor visibility. Guest sailors are warmly welcome on the free, marked berths, and power and water connections are available on the pontoons.
At the marina you'll find showers and toilets in the newly built clubhouse, a slipway and a mast crane, plus a barbecue area and a playground for children.
Good shopping is available about 1 km from the harbour in town along the B76, and the restaurant „Altes Fährhaus“ is close to the marina. There is a bus connection to Schleswig, and a 6 km cycling and walking path along the Schlei also leads there. The Viking Museum with its Viking settlement is within easy walking distance, and a scenic trail circles the entire Selker Noor.
