About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Fröjdendals Båthamn is a private small-boat marina in the beautiful Malö strömmar in the heart of Bohuslän, on the west coast of Orust. The marina sits right by the ferry crossing between Orust and Malö and is run by Morlanda Säteri.
The marina offers parking, toilets, showers and waste bins for household rubbish for its customers. Drinking water is available at the dock, and the fifteen boat houses on a dock deck each have their own electricity supply. The boat houses are rented on an annual basis and may not be used as living quarters. Morlanda Säteri also offers indoor winter storage for boats, cars and caravans.
The marina is close to Gullholmen and Islandsberg and makes a good starting point for sailing out to open water or exploring calmer channels nearby. The area is also a popular spot for kayakers thanks to the easy launching conditions. Morlanda Church lies about one kilometre from the marina.
