About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Fröskogs Hamn is a small guest jetty on Lake Ärr in Fröskog, part of the Dalsland Canal in the Åmål municipality. The jetty is modest in size and forms part of the northern stretch of the Vänern waterway system.
There are only three guest berths at the jetty, with a water depth of about 1.8 meters. Mooring is long side or bow-to. The jetty is somewhat exposed to wind, so keep the weather conditions in mind on arrival.
On site there is a small outdoor composting toilet as well as a boat ramp for launching. Bikes are also available to borrow, which you can use to get further into the village.
From the jetty it is about 3 km to Fengersfors and the cultural hub Not Quite, where you'll find a café, shop, restaurant and a wide range of cultural activities. In Fröskog itself there is a beautiful church, offering guided audio tours in both English and German during the summer. There are also charming Bed & Breakfasts in both Fröskog and Fengersfors. Tie up at this little guest jetty and take in the peaceful atmosphere by Lake Ärr.
