About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Visby Gästhamn is a large and lively guest harbour set right in the centre of Visby on Gotland. Guest berths are available both in the inner harbour, on the northern breakwater, and in the fishing harbour. The harbour serves as a central base for visiting sailors wanting to stay close to the World Heritage city.
The harbour is open year-round, and during the high season the store is open from 8 AM to 9 PM. Check-in and payment are done online, no later than 30 minutes after mooring, via Dockspot. An access card to toilets, showers and the laundry room is included in the fee.
Onboard facilities include a solid range of services: showers, toilets, electricity, fresh water, groceries, a restaurant, local transport and fuel. Electricity is available as an add-on, while water on the quays is free of charge. A laundry room is located right behind the reception, and waste is sorted at the recycling station behind the reception. Pump-out of holding tanks takes place at marked spots according to the harbour map. At the fuel berth you can get petrol, diesel without RME, LPG and lubricants.
Within walking distance lies Visby's famous city wall: the Ringwall encloses Visby's city centre and bears witness to its medieval history. Here you can experience Gotland's Fornsal, a fascinating museum where you can see, among other things, unique picture stones.
