About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Getterön Marina is a marina and guest harbour in Varberg, Halland, catering to leisure boats and motorhomes. The harbour can be entered via two channels; most guest berths are located along the pontoons behind the southern entrance, where the minimum depth is 2.5 metres. At the northern entrance there is a service quay for fuel and information with a smaller number of guest berths. As a guest you find your own free berth marked with a green sign; the width between the stern posts is at least 3.5 metres, with wider berths available at the northern pontoon, the southern stone pier and the eastern pontoon by the palisade. A number of bookable berths are available on the E-pontoon with views of Varbergs Fästning. The 2025 guest fee starts from SEK 125 per night outside high season (June-August costs SEK 250-380 depending on boat length), and payment is made via Tallyweb or by scanning the QR code on the electricity post. All berths include electricity, water and free wifi.
The marina offers toilets, showers and a sauna in the service building, a laundry with washing machine and dryer, a waste station and pump-out facilities for boat toilets. There is a crane for boat lifts up to 20 tonnes as well as a mast crane, and a boatyard is located about 200 metres from the harbour. Restaurant Hattaviken is located in the marina itself, and there is a playground for children.
