About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Glommens hamn is a Swedish guest harbour on the west coast, by Glumstenen north of Falkenberg, where sailors for many years have stopped over on their way along the coast. Coming in from the sea you sail straight into the harbour; coming from north or south, keep clear of the stone reef off Morups Tånge lighthouse and off Glumudden, as the water shoals quickly there. Harbour depth is about 2.5 metres, while the trawler basin is about 4 metres deep. Fixed guest berths are found at the second pontoon pier, and posts (marked with red and green signs) are on the inside of the northern stone pier. The guest harbour fee is 300 SEK/night, while daytime mooring until 6pm costs 100 SEK (after that the regular fee applies). When you pay the harbour fee you also get a code for the hygiene building above the harbour, which has toilets and showers. Electricity and fresh water are available on the piers. Glommens Pizzeria is located in the harbour itself, and about 100 metres away in Fiskebyn you'll find the café and restaurant Glommens Fiskekrog. About 300 metres up in the village is the grocery shop Handlaren, where the bus to Falkenberg also stops. A trailer slipway is located in the eastern part of the harbour (annual permit applies). Tie up at the pontoon pier or the posts, walk the 300 metres up to Handlaren, and enjoy a summer evening in the historic fishing village of Glommen.
