About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Göta Segelsällskap is a non-profit sailing club founded on 10 August 1895, with its home marina at Långholmen in Stockholm since 1921. The club has around 420 members and holds 150 berths at Långholmen, where many of the boats are classic wooden yachts. Besides the berths at Långholmen, the club also has Jungfruholmarna, two islands between Slagsta and Jungfrusund, which the club has used since 1915 and owned since 1936.

During winter, members can register their boat for a winter berth in the harbour, and if the boat is to have electricity on board, an electricity meter with new batteries must be provided.

Visit Jungfruholmarna, a gem between Slagsta and Jungfrusund, if you're sailing through Mälaren.
