About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Grilstad Marina is a public guest harbour on Fullriggerøya, an artificially built peninsula and island in the Trondheimsfjord north of Trondheim. The marina opened in 2015 and has room for nearly 520 recreational boats; it is operated by Trondheim Båtforening.
The guest berths are located at the innermost part of the harbour by Flipper Kafé, with side-tie mooring. The harbour is well sheltered behind a solid breakwater, is modern with universal design and good parking, and offers power and water at the dock. Payment for the guest berth is made through the GoMarina app.
The marina has a small sanitary building with toilet, shower and laundry facilities. Fuel is also available, and a rigging/sailmaker workshop operates right on site. Flipper Kafé is conveniently located overlooking the harbour, serving everything from salads and burgers to shrimp sandwiches, both indoors and on the terrace. There are also playgrounds in the area.
A short walk from the harbour brings you to the Grilstadporten shopping centre with a grocery store, while a Coop Xtra supermarket lies about 500 metres from the guest harbour. The popular coastal path Ladestien runs through the area, and the Grilstadfjæra beach, with sand, barbecue spots and a play area, opened right next to the marina in May 2024. Tie up by Flipper Kafé and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on this artificial island, where boating, swimming and walks go hand in hand.
