About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Grand Holm Marina is Haapsalu's historic marina, beautifully located at Westmeri 3, just an hour's drive from Tallinn and with the West-Estonian archipelago right at hand.
The entrance channel has a minimum depth of 2.5 m and a minimum width of 20 m; the marina takes vessels up to 23.9 m in length, 6 m in width and 2.5 m draught. Call on VHF channel 12, call sign "Grand Holm". Guest berths are charged by boat length, from 30 € per 24 hours for boats up to 6 m and up to 650 € for a full season; a short stay of up to 5 hours costs 10 €. The price includes electricity up to 10A, drinking water, waste disposal, use of the washing machine, wifi, and access to toilet, shower and sauna.
The marina offers a slipway and boat lifter, and as the only harbour in Haapsalu it has its own fuel station - guests with a mooring agreement get a 4-cent discount per litre. At the harbour shop you can stock up on boat equipment or buy refreshments and alcohol for your trip. You can also rent a bike, car, rowboat and SUP board right at the marina, and there is parking for caravans.
From the marina it's a short walk along the scenic promenade to Haapsalu's sights, including the elegant Kuursaal and the charming old town. Tie up at the berth, arrange a slipway slot if needed, and stroll the short distance into Haapsalu's old town.
