About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Härnösands hamn comprises three central guest marinas in the town at the mouth of the Ångermanälven river: Skeppsbron/Norra hamnen, Kanaludden by Södra Sundet, and by the boathouses in the bay of Nattviken.
You reach the town through two opening bridges, Nybron and Västra Kanalbron, which must be booked at least one hour in advance; between 18 June and 23 August the bridges open at 9.30 am, 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm. During the 2026 season, boats can only pass through Nybron in one direction at a time, because work on the new bridge is still ongoing.
At Nattviken there is a service building with toilets, showers, a washing machine and a kitchen, and central Härnösand also has a refuelling station and pump-out facilities for leisure boats. At some of the marinas you can also rent a bicycle, and there is a chandlery nearby.
The guest marinas are close to the town centre, where you'll find restaurants, cafés, bars and an ice cream kiosk, as well as shops. There is also a hostel and campervan parking right by the marina. Step ashore and discover one of Sweden's best summer towns!
