Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Hafen Heveney is located on the Kemnader See in Witten, part of the Freizeitzentrum Kemnader See – the youngest of the six Ruhr reservoirs and one of the region's most popular recreation destinations.
By the lake you'll find a grill hut for visitors' use, as well as five playgrounds for children. Parking is available at P1 (Freizeitbad) and P2 (Hafen); a day ticket typically costs 3–5 euros, while guests of the outdoor pool get their parking fee refunded upon presenting their ticket at the till, and parking is free if the lot is left within 30 minutes.
Around the harbour you can rent pedal boats and equipment at the rental station, join the sailing or watersports school, try the surf school, play minigolf, or take a trip on the excursion boats. The roughly 10.4 km 'Ruhr Inline' skating track runs along the lake and is lit by solar-powered LED lamps until 11 pm. Restaurants, cafés and bars by the lake are coming soon.
Drop off your bike or skates, park at P2, and walk the short distance down to the grill hut and playground by Kemnader See.
