About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Halte Fluviale in La Suze-sur-Sarthe is a municipal river marina right in the town centre, once an industrial harbour that now welcomes tourists seeking peace and quiet on the water.
The marina consists of two pontoons. On one of them you will find water, electricity and wifi for a fee of €11 per 24 hours (€8 from October to 15 May), payable at the terminal by the entrance to the campsite, where you can also use the campsite's fully renovated showers for an extra €3. Berths on pontoon no. 2 are free, without water or electricity, but with the option of a shower for €3. Stays are limited to 7 days, and boats over 15 metres are not permitted.
So you'll find drinking water, shore power and wifi on one of the pontoons, plus showers via the campsite.
The marina sits right in the town centre close to all shops, with a market every Thursday morning. From here starts a lovely walk along the towpath, and the more energetic can follow a 7 km loop from the station. A playground is nearby, and the swimming pool is only 200 metres away. If you want to visit Le Mans, several daily trains run from the station, just 500 metres from the marina.
