About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Bootswerft Peter Knief is a small boatyard with an adjoining marina in Hafenbezirk 28 in Hamburg, founded in 1927 by Alfred Knief and continued by Peter Knief since 1980. The yard specialises in new builds combining GRP and wood, and is the only boatbuilder still producing the traditional Elb-H-Jolle and Jugendwanderkutter to a high standard. Besides boatbuilding and repair, the yard also offers boat storage and the usual services to sailors at its adjoining marina.
