Hangar 19

Hangar 19 lies directly on the shore of Lake Schwerin (Schweriner See) in Schwerin and is a holiday complex with apartments, motorhome pitches and boat rental – not a traditional guest marina with fixed berths. The site offers views over the lake, with apartments no more than 50 metres from the water and private parking by each unit. The motorhome pitches feature modern, clean sanitary facilities with toilets and showers, electricity (billed by consumption) and fast wifi. Under a cherry tree there's a small playground with a climbing frame and slide for children, and right next to the site is a popular Italian pizzeria/restaurant. The boat rental offers a range of motorboats – with or without a boating licence – from €70 per hour, letting you head out onto Lake Schwerin to explore hidden bays, fish or simply relax on the water. Schwerin Castle and the old town are within a 20–30 minute walk, while the nearest supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away. Stop by Hangar 19, book a motorhome pitch or lakeside apartment, and round off the day with a trip on the water or a pizza at the on-site restaurant.
