About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Hareid guest marina (Hareid Marina) is run by Hareid Port, a department under Hareid Municipality. The port manages and operates port areas and all public quays within the municipality's borders, and it offers a guest marina for boats of all sizes and can accommodate cruise and cargo ships, nestled among stunning fjords and mountains. The marina lies on the island of Hareidlandet at the entrance to the Sulafjorden.
As a visiting sailor you pay according to boat length: boats up to 29 feet cost 180 kroner, while boats from 30 feet cost 200 kroner. Electricity and use of the sanitary facilities are included in the berth fee, and payment is made via the GoMarina app or in cash in a box by the pier.
Guests have access to a washing machine/dryer, shower, toilet and sink in the clubhouse of Hareid Småbåtlag. There is wireless internet by the Circle K station, and Circle K has petrol and diesel with its own dock, located about 150 metres from the guest pier. Nearby you'll also find drinking water, a waste station, a playground, parking, a grocery shop, a café, a restaurant, and a boat ramp.
Within walking distance lie the Ishavsmuseet Årvak and the Ovrasanden bathing beach — ideal destinations for a stroll while your boat rests safely at the guest pier.
