About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven 't Verloreneind is a small marina in Westbeemster, right in the middle of the De Beemster World Heritage area in the Netherlands. The marina is conveniently located along the waterways to Alkmaardermeer, Zaandam, Purmerend and De Rijp, and via the Noord-Hollands Kanaal you can reach both Alkmaar, Amsterdam, the IJsselmeer and the North Sea (via Den Helder or IJmuiden). Nearby locks also give access to the polder landscape's waterways.
The marina has a limited number of permanent berths, allocated by mutual agreement, with the final decision made by the harbour master.
There are toilets and a shower at the marina, and you can use the electricity grid for power on board. Water can be taken on by arrangement with the harbour master.
Just 200 metres from the marina lies Fort bij Spijkerboor, the largest fort in the Stelling van Amsterdam defence line, tucked away in the polder landscape of Beemster – a fine outing for anyone mooring here.
