About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Havens Noord is one of three marinas on Starteiland Sneekermeer, with a total of more than 400 berths for pleasure craft. Depth in the harbours is about 1.90 m; boats with deeper draught can moor on the north and west sides of the island, while deep-draught vessels are best placed via Kolmeersgat in the southern harbour.
The island can only be reached by ferry from the mainland - the roll-on/roll-off ferry "de Sweagen" carries boats on trailers, motorhomes and small trucks, while the passenger ferry "Kolmeersland" takes up to 12 people. The 2026 guest rate is €1.85 per metre per night, including electricity, environmental levy and VAT; payment is made via QR code and the i-Marina app. There is a public slipway and a manned crane near Paviljoenwei, free to use within the set lifting times.
The marina has power posts and drinking water taps on the pontoons, plus a pump-out facility for waste water in the southern harbour. Centrally located is a harbour building with extensive sanitary facilities, including showers - also for wheelchair users - and a laundry with washing machines (€5) and dryers (€4). By the crane and slipway there is ample parking for cars, caravans and boat trailers.
On the mainland there are large public car parks for cars, motorhomes and boat trailers, plus bicycle parking at the ferry crossing. Moor at one of the three harbours on Starteiland and head straight to the harbour building for a shower, laundry and QR-code payment.
