Hietasaaren veneilykeskus (Oulun Telakkasäätiö) is located at Vihreäsaari in Oulu, at coordinates 65.00,9 / 25.26,5 (chart series G or chart 57).

Approach via Vihreäsaaren satama, then follow a 2.5-metre-deep channel towards the town, into the north-eastern corner of Hietasaari. The harbour basin itself has a depth of 3.5 metres. The area is guarded.

The marina has declared itself toxin-free: antifouling paint containing biocides is not permitted, and ethylene glycol is discouraged for frost protection of the seawater cooling circuit. A waste management plan is in place for the harbour, and a leading buoy (johteenpooki) can be rented.
