About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Hundested Harbour lies on the north coast of Zealand where Kattegat meets Isefjord, and Inderhavn is one of the harbour's basins where guest sailors can moor. Situated between Kattegat and Isefjord, this is a popular stop on the north coast of Zealand. The harbour is a large and busy harbour with room for fishing, ferry traffic and pleasure boats, and today it consists of three harbour sections, where the northern and oldest basins are reserved for pleasure boats and recreational fishermen, while the middle basin has a quay reserved for fishing.
Guest sailors should dock in the Inderhavn, Mellemhavn, Lystbådehavn or Sydhavn, while the Yderhavn and Trafikhavn must not be used. The harbour can be entered around the clock and is lit, but the buoys in the entrance are not lit. Currents of up to 3 knots may occur in the narrow entrance.
In the harbour area you will find toilets and showers, as well as a sailors' lounge. The payment card is used as an access card to toilets and bathrooms and for paying individual electricity consumption. There is a trailer ramp for launching, a playground for the youngest children, and every Wednesday during the summer season the motor and sailing club hosts a communal barbecue evening, where guest sailors are also welcome. There is paid parking in the harbour area from March to October.
