About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Inselhafen Prerow is a small island harbour on the Baltic coast in the German Vorpommern national park area, linked to the seaside resort of Prerow by a 720-metre pier. The harbour has berths for rescue vessels, fishing boats and local commercial craft, as well as 33 transit berths for pleasure boats and one emergency berth for a larger vessel, which can also be used by 6-9 distressed pleasure craft rafted alongside.
Entry is possible from both the northwest and the south; inbound vessels have right of way, and the sea rescue cruiser always has priority. Consult nautical charts and the harbour plan for detailed navigation information.
The harbour offers toilets with an accessible WC, showers, shore power and fresh water at the berths, plus a pump-out station for blackwater from pleasure boats. A pillar-mounted slewing crane can be used with at least 3 days' advance booking and may only be operated by the harbour's own staff. There is no wifi or parking available at the harbour.
The harbour connects directly on foot to the seaside resort of Prerow via the 720-metre pier, from where you can continue into the town itself.
