About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Ishøj Havn is a large marina with around 550 berths, beautifully located in the middle of Køge Bugt near Copenhagen, with ARKEN and Ishøj Strand as its closest neighbours. The marina is built on artificial islands that divide the area into several cosy sections, attracting both sailors and thousands of visitors every summer.
Visiting yachtsmen pay a harbour fee of DKK 175 per night plus an environmental fee of DKK 25 per night under the free-harbour scheme. The harbour office is open Monday-Tuesday 10:00-15:00, Thursday 13:00-17:00, Friday 10:00-13:00, while Wednesday and Sunday are closed; the first and last Saturday of May-August the office opens 09:00-12:00.
On Søhesten and Hummeren you'll find toilet and shower buildings accessed via Tallyweb (showers cost DKK 5 per 5 minutes), plus waste and recycling houses for sorting and an environmental container for oil and hazardous waste behind the mast house on Hummeren. The marina has two mast cranes at the service quay (DKK 145/year), mast houses on both islands, access to a slipway (DKK 61 per launch), a washing machine and dryer (DKK 25 per use), and electricity at the berths at DKK 3 per kWh. There are barbecue areas and several eateries in the harbour: Cafe Sesa, Restaurant Moma, and the club restaurants Kabyssen and Hummeren. Marine businesses include boat sales and chandlery at Tempo Bådsalg, Tempo Marineservice, Tempo Både and Shipcenter, among others.
