About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven Aqua Viva is located in a quiet arm of the Maas river just outside Maastricht, in the picturesque village of Eijsden in Limburg. The marina offers permanent berths for boats up to 15 metres, which must be applied for by post or email.
The marina has no guest berths and cannot be reached by VHF radio. Permanent berths are arranged directly with the harbourmaster, and a detailed price list as well as a registration form are available on the website.
There are plenty of freshwater taps at the berths, though using this water to wash your boat is explicitly forbidden. Shore power (4 Amp) is available by arrangement with the harbourmaster, for a fixed fee plus a charge per kWh. Ample public parking is available on Trichterweg near the marina.
Eijsden lies just 5 km from central Maastricht and offers cosy terraces, restaurants and cafés, along with historic sites and a local museum. Nature areas such as Savelsbos and Eijsder Beemden, plus a pedestrian and bicycle ferry to Belgium, are within walking distance. Take a stroll along the natural banks of the Maas and enjoy the tranquillity of this picturesque river village.
