About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026WSV De Greft is a club marina on the De Grecht canal, on the edge of the old fortified town of Woerden in the Green Heart of the Netherlands. The marina has about 120 permanent berths along floating pontoons, and during the sailing season the club makes free berths available to guest sailors, many with views over the polder landscape.
Booking is not necessary – there is almost always a spot free in this quiet marina. All berths have finger or side pontoons, making it easy to get on and off the boat, and there are plenty of power and water points. The marina is wheelchair accessible.
The marina offers modern toilets and showers, including a facility for guests with disabilities, plus a washing machine and dryer for a small fee. You can pump out your holding tank or empty a chemical toilet, connect to shore power, and use free wifi. There is a slipway for boats up to 12 tonnes, a trailer ramp with a winch for smaller boats, and a swing crane for boats up to two tonnes. A small grassy area allows for pitching a tent and barbecuing (in consultation with the harbour master), and there is a playground for children.
Woerden's town centre is close by, with Kerkplein, the Woerden Museum, shopping streets and restaurants, plus a market every Wednesday and Saturday. The Tournoysveld shopping centre, with a baker, butcher, Jumbo supermarket and several eateries, is less than a kilometre from the marina.
