About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven De Molenwaard is located on the edge of the historic Hanseatic town of Hasselt in the water-rich province of Overijssel in the Netherlands. The marina has over 300 berths and is open year-round, including for winter storage.
Guests are always welcome. The marina offers a heated sanitary building with toilets, washbasins and showers, plus a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. Wifi is available throughout the marina.
On site there is a slipway/lifting facility where sailing boats with standing masts can be hauled out using a hydraulic Roodberg trailer and a powerful John Deere tractor with a capacity of up to 35 tonnes. There is a diesel and petrol fuel berth, modern water and electricity installations on wide, lit pontoons, boxes for boats up to 17 metres, two powerful pump-out units for emptying holding and grey water tanks, and environmentally responsible disposal of waste such as oil filters and old batteries. A chandlery offering a wide range of watersport articles, paint and work materials is also on site, along with a work area where you can service your own boat. Parking is available for guests, including a covered, locked parking option.
The marina sits right on the edge of the historic Hasselt town centre, offering plenty of shopping options. Berth at the wide, lit pontoons and walk straight into the historic Hanseatic town of Hasselt for your shopping.
