About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven de Schapenput is a small, nature-rich marina on the Steenbergse Vliet in Brabant, surrounded by greenery and known for its calm and cleanliness. From the monumental Benedensas you sail along the picturesque Vliet, and after three kilometres you'll see the harbour channel to starboard; the channel depth is 2.50 metres, making the marina suitable for larger boats. Visiting sailors can moor after arrangement with the harbourmaster, and if arriving with several boats you can arrange in advance to be berthed close together. The marina has two modern toilet buildings each with 4 toilets, a urinal, 4 showers and 5 washbasins; the building by the harbour office also has a chemical toilet disposal point. There is a reception facility for bilge water and waste tanks, underground containers for glass, paper and household waste, free drinking water and electricity included in the guest fee, plus deck-wash pumps with free biodegradable soap and a wash pontoon with only 30 cm of freeboard. A slipway and a hydraulic boat trailer (up to 15 tonnes, max length 11-12 metres, draft 1.90 m) allow boats to be hauled out. Free wireless internet is available throughout the marina. Children can play at two playgrounds, including a play island with a pirate ship reached via an arched bridge. For barbecuing, guests can book the Finnish Kota on the hill, with room for at least 15 people, for a cleaning fee only. Moor in this quiet, nature-surrounded marina and enjoy the tranquillity amid Brabant's beautiful landscape.
