About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Jachthaven de Toekomst is a family-run marina at Scheendijk 11 in Breukelen, overlooking the trekgaten that connect directly to the Loosdrechtse Plassen. The marina spreads across two adjoining spits of land and offers 140 seasonal berths, whether in a box, alongside a jetty or against the quay, plus around 100 parking spaces on its own grounds and free parking along Scheendijk.

The marina is well placed as a base for a day's sailing on the Loosdrechtse Plassen, through locks to the river Vecht with its beautiful country estates, or onward to the Vinkeveense Plassen.

At the marina's cosy skipper's square, dating from 2019, you'll find an unmanned kiosk with a sweets and soft-drinks vending machine, picnic tables overlooking the water, toilet and shower facilities, and wifi across the whole marina. Near the entrance is a chandlery selling paint, varnish, brushes, sandpaper, antifouling, mooring lines and fenders, as well as the new cleaner-burning Ecomaxx petrol. The marina can lift boats up to 3.5 tonnes and runs its own Silic One Application Center for hull antifouling treatment.

Tie up at one of the 140 seasonal berths and enjoy the calm view over the water from the skipper's square while you plan your day out on the Loosdrechtse Plassen.
