About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven Friese Hoek is located directly on the IJsselmeer near the cosy town of Lemmer, with access to the Frisian lakes through the historic Lemster locks. The marina offers spacious berths from 7 to 18 metres, and a quarter of the berths have a side jetty.
Every berth has its own electricity connection, and there are plenty of drinking water points around the marina. The harbour office is happy to advise on what's available in and around the marina.
The marina offers separate sanitary facilities for men and women with toilets, showers, washbasins and washing cabins, accessible only by code for marina guests. There is a laundry with washing and drying machines, containers for waste, glass and used oil, and a room for emptying chemical toilets. At the centre of the marina you'll find the harbour office, a chandlery selling ship's supplies and sailing clothes, the café-restaurant Skippers Lounge (offering freshly baked morning rolls and lunch), plus a large car park and trolleys for your shopping. The marina also has a crane with a lifting capacity of up to 50 tonnes and transport capacity up to 70 tonnes, as well as both covered and outdoor winter storage. Bicycles can be hired via the harbour office.
From here it's a short trip to Lemmer and onward to lively towns such as Heeg and Sneek, and a trip to the Wadden Islands or to Enkhuizen and Medemblik is also easy to plan from Lemmer.
