About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Vispoorthaven in Zutphen is the historic home port of sailing club WSV Gelre, located directly on the river IJssel close to the town centre. The club has 120 members, 54 of whom hold permanent berths, and the maximum size for permanent berths is 10.2 metres.
You enter from the IJssel on the port side and report at the reporting jetty on the starboard side. Given sufficient water level (Zutphen Noord 2.50 +NAP), vessels from 10 metres can moor along the quay bow-first towards the IJssel. The harbour season runs from 1 April to 1 October, though guests are welcome outside this period too - call the harbourmaster about an hour before arrival. Payment is preferably via the Marina2Stay app or Bluewater app; the harbourmaster does rounds twice daily in high season. Guest berths cost 1.90 euro per metre per day, tourist tax 1.75 euro per person per day, electricity from 3.00 euro per day, water 1.00 euro per 130 litres, and parking for guests up to 16:00 costs 6.00 euro. Pump-out and wifi are free.
The harbour building houses toilets and showers (showers cost 0.50 euro in coins), waste containers are at the quay near the entrance, there is a chemical toilet disposal point beside the harbour building, and a black-water pump-out installation at the reporting jetty. The harbour also has a crane with a lifting capacity of up to 10 tonnes for emergencies.
