About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven Hunzegat is a marina with 250 permanent berths on floating pontoons, located at a junction of waterways in the Netherlands – from here you can sail towards the Zoutkamperril, Reitdiep, Hunsingokanaal and the Lauwers. The Lauwersmeer National Park is close by, and the Unesco World Heritage Wadden Sea can be reached via the Robbengatsluis lock.
The marina also has room for visiting yachtsmen. Thanks to the floating pontoons, your boat always lies steady regardless of the water level in this basin area, and you can always step ashore dry-shod. There is a fuel berth with diesel at the marina.
The berths have shore power. Drinking water is available at the quay by the fuel tank and along the B-pontoon. The marina has a well-stocked chandlery with a bottled-gas depot, as well as a mast-making workshop where glued wooden masts are made in the autumn and winter season – other woodwork can also be done here. A mobile telescopic crane with a lifting capacity of up to 15 tonnes is available for hauling out.
Moor up at Hunzegat, fill up with diesel, top up your water at the quay, and make use of the marina's boat and mast facilities while you explore the scenic Lauwersmeer area.
