About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Jachthaven Pluto is beautifully situated in a calm, fully sheltered bay in Den Helder, surrounded by modern housing, some of which have their own private berths. The marina has around 200 berths and 100 parking spaces, and is a good base for lying in fresh water before heading out to the Wadden Sea or the Wadden Islands.
The marina is reached via a single bridge, which opens on call throughout the day and evening. The berths have finger pontoons, and some are wide enough for larger catamarans; the finger pontoons are 10 metres long with sturdy steel piles at the outer end.
Shore power and water are available on the pontoons. The marina's facilities are being continuously renewed.
Moor at one of the spacious berths with a finger pontoon, connect to shore power and water, and get ready for the onward trip to the Wadden Sea.
