About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Camping en Jachthaven De Mars is located in the Rhederlaag recreation area on the river IJssel in Gelderland. The marina has two sections: Westhaven with 100 berths (renovated in 2020) and Oosthaven, which has a total capacity of 450 boats and is also home to the guest berths' reporting jetty.
The marina is open from 1 April to 1 November, and the barriers are closed between 22.30 and 07.00. Shore power (230V) and a water connection are available at the jetty, and the site has its own slipway for launching boats.
In the harbour building near the entrance bridge to Oosthaven you'll find washbasins with hot and cold water, showers, toilets, a washing machine and dryer, plus a pump-out point for chemical toilets. Wifi is available at the communal facilities. The campsite also offers a canteen with a bar and pool table, a cafeteria serving snacks and sandwiches, a shop for daily groceries and fresh bread, and a playground for children.
The site has its own sandy beach on the Rhederlaag lake, perfect for swimming, fishing, surfing and sailing. The De Veluwe National Park lies right on the doorstep with cycling and walking routes, and the lively city of Arnhem is within day-trip distance. Moor at the guest jetty in Oosthaven and head straight to the harbour building for a hot shower after your sail.
