About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Kalma Sadam is a small, privately owned fishing harbour at the mouth of the Piilsi river in Kalmaküla, Mustvee municipality, close to the Tartu-Narva highway. The harbour covers 2944 m2 with a water area of 900 m2, and is used all year round.

The pier is 50 metres long with a depth near the pier of 1-2 metres. The harbour is designated as a priority fishing port under the EU fisheries development strategy 2009-2015.

On a separate property at the harbour, fish and fishing equipment are sold. A project is underway to procure fish crates and an ice maker, and to clean the harbour channel, in order to improve port services.

The harbour is easily accessible by both land and water near the Tartu-Narva road – stop by and experience this historic fishing harbour on Lake Peipus.
