About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Kapp Båtforening is a guest harbour on Lake Mjøsa, located in the village of Kapp in Østre Toten municipality, Innlandet county, Norway. The marina is run by the local boating association and has around 110 berths, ranging from dinghies to boats over 40 feet.
There are several places to moor as a visitor: some guest berths lie at the guest pontoon at the outer end of the breakwater by the lighthouse and a couple more on the inside of the stone quay nearest Båtkroa, while a further 10–12 guest berths are just 50 metres away on the south side of the Skibladner quay, where you can moor bow- or stern-to using mooring buoys astern. There is also a pick-up pontoon for short stops and dropping off or collecting passengers, plus a kayak dock near the beach.
Within the harbour area you'll find showers, fresh water on the pontoons, a café (Båtkroa), a restaurant, a grocery shop, a playground, parking and a slipway for launching boats. The nearest fuel stations are in Gjøvik or Hamar.
Kapp sits centrally on Lake Mjøsa, and the historic paddle steamer D/S Skibladner makes a regular stop here on its route across the lake. Come alongside at Kapp and enjoy lakeside life from the marina's welcoming guest berths.
