About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Kermankeidas is a cosy village harbour set amid Finland's national landscape, located in the village of Kerma on the Heinävesi route, halfway between Savonlinna and Kuopio. The harbour welcomes boaters, canoeists, and even cruise ships on the Kuopio-Savonlinna route, which can stop here if needed.
The guest berths offer 6 side-to berths at the main jetty plus 8 bow-line berths and 8 stern-buoy berths at a pole jetty, giving 22 guest berths in total. Fresh water is available at the jetty.
The harbour has toilets, waste disposal and pump-out for holding tanks, as well as shore power. There is also a sauna and a swimming beach by the harbour. The restaurant downstairs seats 80 guests and has a spacious terrace in summer, while the upstairs hall seats 150 for parties and meetings; the restaurant holds an alcohol licence and is open daily in summer, by request only in winter.
Nearby you'll find the Kerma rapids and canals, Heinävesi church, the Kermankoski dance pavilion, the Pääskyvuori lookout tower, and the Valamo and Lintula monasteries. The Pääskyvuori ski resort lies about 10 km away, offering skiing and café services in winter. Tie up at the guest jetty and take in the views along the Heinävesi route from the terrace.
