KMS Nordön - Södra hamnen

KMS Nordön Södra hamnen is a guest marina run by Kungälvs Motor- och Segelbåtssällskap, beautifully situated in the archipelago of southern Bohuslän. Södra hamnen consists of two basins with a total of about 710 berths (around 100 in the smaller basin and about 610 in the larger one).

Visiting boats may be up to 12 metres long and 4 metres wide. There are no fixed guest berths – you will be shown to a berth by harbour staff or by members on watch duty. The guest berth fee is 200 SEK per night, whether you are a member or not, and electricity and water are included and available on all pontoons.

Showers and toilets are included in the guest fee and are found in the clubhouses. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room (100 SEK for 3 hours), dishwashing facilities in the clubhouses, a waste station for sorting combustible waste and glass, and a pump-out facility. Barbecue areas and parking are also available at the harbour.

The marina lies close to fishing villages such as Dyrön, Åstol, Rönnäng, Klädesholmen and Skärhamn, and five nautical miles to the west lies Marstrand with Carlstens fästning fortress and its old wooden town. Berth at Södra hamnen, enjoy the sandy beach right next door, and explore the Bohuslän archipelago.
