About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Knarberg Båtforening is an active boat association founded in 1953, located in Bjerkøysundet on the east side of Nøtterøy in Færder municipality. The association today has around 370 boat berths and runs a well-managed harbour environment for both members and visitors, in a marina complex sheltered from wind and weather, centrally placed in the archipelago off Nøtterøy and Tjøme.
Guest berths are signposted on pier 1, and as a visitor you must register and pay for your berth via Havneweb (Vipps). The number of guest berths depends on the width of the boats, and you should avoid berths marked as members' private spaces. According to the association's own price list, a guest berth costs NOK 250 per night.
As a guest sailor you get access to a toilet (with disabled-accessible standard), a shower and a washing machine, and the berth fee includes shore power at the dock. The harbour also has a mast crane with a capacity of 10 tonnes, as well as a slipway you can use for launching and hauling out a boat on a trailer.
There is a short walk to a bus stop with regular departures to Tønsberg. Come alongside in Bjerkøysundet and enjoy the sheltered setting right in the heart of the archipelago off Nøtterøy and Tjøme.
