About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026KSSS Guest Harbour in Sandhamn is run by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) on the island of Sandön in the outer Stockholm archipelago. The harbour is part of a larger complex where KSSS has guest berths for more than 400 boats across Sandhamn, Lökholmen and Telegrafholmen, and the guest harbour in Sandhamn itself consists of three big pontoon bridges with quays in between in front of Seglarhotellet.
The marina has around 150 guest berths and is open from the last weekend in April until the last weekend in October. The bridges are manned by harbour attendants, easily recognised by their red jackets and blue polo shirts, and during high season the KSSS Tender waits outside the marina to guide boats to the right berth – always contact the Tender or a harbour attendant before mooring. In the harbour basin below Seglarhotellet, mooring is done with mooring lines fixed to the bridges and a chain at the bottom, functioning like a fixed anchor; ordinary anchoring is forbidden. Reserved moorings are marked with signs, and a number of guest berths can be pre-booked online.
At the pontoons you'll find diesel and petrol, electricity, fresh water, toilets and showers. There is also a grocery store and kiosks as well as restaurants close to the harbour.
Within walking distance, Sandhamn offers a lively setting with restaurants, bars, hotels and shops.
