About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Lökholmen is a guest harbour run by KSSS (the Royal Swedish Yacht Club), located in the outer Stockholm archipelago close to Sandhamn. Since 1890 Sandhamn and Lökholmen have been the base for KSSS's regatta activities. The harbour offers around 200 moorings across two areas.
You approach from the south between Trollharan and Kroksö. The first section, Trollsundet, is mainly reserved for KSSS members during high season and takes up to 90 boats, moored with a mooring line, buoy or Y-boom; anchoring is not allowed here. Following the channel north brings you to Kroksöfladen, with room for about 110 more boats where you anchor. The channel has a lowest depth of 2.0 metres at mean water level. A 5-knot speed limit applies in the passage north of Sandön down to south of Lökholmen.
In Trollsundet you can connect to shore power for a fee. Toilets and showers are located along the wooden footbridges between Trollsundet and Kroksöfladen and are open around the clock without a code. A sauna is found on the south side of Trollharan near the tender boat jetty; it is included in the harbour fee and open 09:00–20:30. Rubbish is disposed of in one of three red waste houses at Trollsundet and Kroksöfladen, where cans and PET bottles can also be recycled. At the harbour office you can buy ice cream and order fresh bread rolls from the bakery in Sandhamn. Lökholmen also has a bed & breakfast with three rooms.
