About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Lawrence Cove Marina lies on the north side of Bere Island in Lawrence Cove Harbour, opposite the fishing port of Castletownberehaven, near the village of Rerrin. The marina describes itself as the only fully serviced marina between Kinsale and Cahirciveen, set in one of the most sheltered harbours in Bantry Bay.
Water, electricity and diesel are available on the pontoons, so boats can be supplied directly at the berth.
Ashore you'll find showers (coin operated), toilets and a laundrette, all regularly cleaned and maintained. At reception there is a marina craft shop selling boat equipment, and winter hard stands plus repair and maintenance services are available on request.
It's a 10 minute walk to the village shop, Post Office, deli and pub. A ferry to the mainland and buses to Cork make crew changes easy. Tie up at the pontoon and take the 10 minute walk into Rerrin for provisions and a pub evening.
