About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026The Leverkusener Marine Club (LMC) runs a well-kept and well-situated pontoon marina near the end of the harbour entrance at Rhine kilometre 705.9, with access via kilometre 707. The sheltered location keeps boats well protected from wave action on the Rhine.
Note the Rhine water-level gauge at Köln when entering – from a water level of about 4.50 m the mole is submerged, so always use the actual harbour entrance, marked by two red-and-white poles. All berths have electricity and water connections. Guest berths for boats up to 8 m cost €15 per day including water plus €3 for electricity, while boats over 8 m pay €20 per day including water plus €3 for electricity.
Sanitary facilities, including toilets, are located in the clubhouse, a houseboat by the pontoons.
The old town of Leverkusen-Hitdorf, with cosy cafés, restaurants and shops, is just a 4-minute walk away, and you'll also find an Edeka grocery store and a pharmacy within walking distance. The nearest fuel station is about 1.2-1.6 km from the marina. Berth alongside with power and water included, and stroll the short distance into Hitdorf's old town.
