Lystbådehavn Troense

Troense Marina is a small marina on the northeastern tip of the island of Tåsinge, beautifully situated at a scenic bend of the eastern Svendborg Sound. The marina lies right next to the old and well-preserved skipper's town of Troense, known for its charming half-timbered houses, and falls under Svendborg Municipality in the South Funen Archipelago.

The marina offers toilets, showers and a laundry, as well as shore power and fresh water at the berths. There is also fuel, a slipway, a crane and boat service available, along with waste disposal and pump-out for holding tanks. The harbour master offers a bike rental service, and there is parking and wifi at the marina plus a nearby kiosk for provisions. There is also a playground in the area.

From the marina you can watch the traffic in Svendborg Sound and see the sound ferry "Helge" pass slowly by - a cosy way to get to Svendborg or Valdemar's Castle. It is only about 1 km to Valdemar's Castle, home to the Danish Yachting Museum as well as the castle's own museums, restaurant and tea pavilion. Right next to the marina is Hotel Troense, a very nice place to eat. There are no grocery stores directly in Troense, but the nearest supermarket is only 2 km away and easily reached by bus. The town of Svendborg is just 5 km away across the scenic Svendborgsund Bridge.
