About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Port de Sainte-Marie is a municipal fishing and marina harbour on Réunion Island, operated by the Régie du Port de Sainte-Marie. The marina has 337 berths in total across 14 pontoons (A-N), of which 303 are for pleasure craft and 34 for traditional fishing boats, with permitted boat lengths from 6 to 12 metres depending on the pontoon.
Visiting sailors can moor for a weekly fee based on boat length: from €30 for boats up to 5 metres up to €111 for boats of 10-12 metres (minimum one week's stay). The harbour office is open Monday to Friday from 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, where stay fees are paid. There is a careening area with a slipway and a waiting berth for boats.
Water and electricity points are available along the pontoons and quays. Sanitary facilities are located in the harbour's technical zone, and there is a car park on the South quay for harbour users.
The marina is located in Sainte-Marie within walking distance of the town's amenities. Moor at one of the available guest berths and check in at the harbour office to be assigned a spot.
