About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Campingplatz Am Gobenowsee is set scenically between Mirow, Neustrelitz and Rheinsberg in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, on the northern shore of Gobenowsee. The site stretches about one kilometre along the lake and is only 60-100 metres wide, so there's almost always a view of the water. The unparcelled pitches lie close to the shore with covered seating areas and racks for kayaks and canoes.
The site is open from Easter to early October, and vehicle access is possible daily from 7:30-13:00 and 15:00-22:00. By boat you can reach the Müritz-Havel-Wasserstraße in about 20 minutes, connecting to the large lakes to the north and many smaller lakes, rivers and canals to the south.
On site there is a kiosk/snack stand, and the office also keeps set opening hours.
Müritz National Park can be reached in about 30 minutes by car, and the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route is only 600 metres away. Pull in at Gobenowsee and enjoy the quiet shoreline with your kayak close at hand.
